OUR HISTORY

Starting from 2011 many brothers were meeting, praying, and using social media to communicate each other. Their main prayer was how to reach the Eritrean and Ethiopian people who live in RTP and surrounding areas by the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

 

When the due time of God arrived, by the encouragement of two sisters, Raleigh Tigrigna Christian Fellowship Church (RTCFC) held its first Bible study in home cell with twenty five brethren on Sunday April 28, 2013 at the residence of Brother Sbhat Zerai in Durham, NC and Brother Askale Asmelash Mooresville, NC. At first, the bible study was held every month for one year.

 

On august 10, 2014, to accommodate the growing need of the fellowship; the bible study had to relocate to a larger and more convenient location in the Cary Church of God at 107 Quade dr 27513. Since August 2014, we have been conducting our services in every other weekend in the same location. In the year of 2015, the bible study officially got recognition as a church in the state of North Carolina.
